Her spinnerets Weave A Silky Web Poem Written By White Tiger

Her spinnerets weave a silky web inside a dreamcatcher above my bed
Her spinnerets weave a silky web
Inside a dreamcatcher above my bed

But it fails to catch the nightmares
So i burrow in cocoon and crawl deep
Inside my cave, where my fledgling mind
Hibernates when abandoned by the sun

Spider hangs in a tattered web tucked in
The kitchen corner, and i wonder what she
Could possibly eat since i always fumigate
My apartment to exterminate the bugs

Never spotted any corpse
Dangle from her web
Which saddened me to think
How she could starve to death

So gave her my silk shirt to unravel and use
As raw material to help fix her shabby web
Then went outside to collect ants and flies and
Things i would, otherwise, never suffer

And carefully tossed them in her web
Which instantly triggered her instinct
To attack, and i was glad to give her
Juicy bugs to savor later as a snack

When night fell i fell asleep
To dream some pleasant dreams
While embraced inside the plush
Wrapped-up tight in silky sheets
